New York, NY – Today, President Bill Clinton will host the first Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Haiti Investment Workshop, which will provide an opportunity for CGI members to discuss opportunities for investments, job creation, and economic development that will generate and support business in Haiti.
President Clinton and the President of the Republic of Haiti, Michel Martelly, will provide remarks, followed by a panel discussion, moderated by President Clinton, featuring President Martelly; President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno; Denis O’Brien, chairman, Digicel Group; Woong-Ki Kim, chairman of Sae-A Trading Company; and Magalie Dresse, owner, Caribbean Craft. Panelists will share their successful experiences working in Haiti and will encourage other companies and individuals to invest in the country.
